It's midnight (gmt) and i'm wondering when NXE's going to arrive, does anyone know exactly when its coming out? Which time zone is microsoft working on?

I got it just a few minutes ago. There's a lot there - everything's changed.
*Not that much has really changed. It's the same stuff in different places. It seems like it might be a little faster overall. The disc installs don't take very long either.

The avatar system is retarded....but even so, why can't I change the fucking color of my guys clothes? How hard would that be to implement?

meh. shit is trying to mix ps3 and wii together. P-Box Wii60??? I dont fucking know. but yeah, its kinda cool. moves faster, not as much lag. The avatar system is fucking stupid. and the dashboard is just there kinda. All in all, its good but its still bad, it needs working on. i honestly dont give a rats ass. as long as i can play games and dont have to look at the dashboard as much as possible i really dont care

Personally I kind of like the new Xbox Dashboard... It seems less laggy and moves quicker... Updates take less time and I really don't mind the little Me guy thing considering I am always in game and I don't normally see it. Overall its ok and just takes a bit of everything from the other major consoles


I give it a 4 out of 5.

The description for marketplace items being in a separate "blade" rather than a little frame is a huge improvement. With the way it used to be, you would have to wait for that thing to slowly automatically scroll down a little bit at a time to read about anything on the marketplace. I also like what they did with the guide button, making it.. It seems like the old blades system has been compacted into the guide button's menu. Also, you can shut the console down from the first press of the guide button.

I was disappointed with the lack of options for the avatar too. It's obvious microsoft just doesn't want to give us the option to change a shirt color to red so they sell us a red shirt for 50 microsoft fun bucks. They've started doing this already essentially with giving out special clothing as in-game rewards for buying the "Community games" (the one I saw this described in was selling for 800 microsoft fun bucks).

2 features i might use, The netflix, and the install. But i am probably just going to stick to normal playing.

The netflix might be used by my whole family though, which is pretty damn useful

You would think that but, no. Yes, you save the game on your hard drive, but you still need a disk. It's pointless really. Supposedly, it makes it quieter while playing, but it also takes up 6 gigs a game which I think I can manage the noise if you know what I mean.
