I give myself projects over school vacations to keep from getting too bored. This year I'm re-designing a furby.
What I'm looking to do (if possible) is to make the Furby's voice either deeper or have two different tones, a low and a high. Ultimately I want it to sound all sorts of fucked up and nothing like what it sounded like before. I'd also like to avoid having a control panel coming out of it, buttons directly on the shell I can deal with.
I'm pretty sure I have most of the tools/materials needed (soldering iron/solder, those little stands with the clips and the magnifying glass) though I have very little soldering experience. I've also got a few friends with a bunch of Furbies so I can afford to fuck up once or twice.
So how would I do this?
