For example, my school offers a course called "War & Peace in History." We get to read Sun Tzu's The Art of War and All Quiet on the Western Front, two of the books on Totse's required reading list. We also study various arguments for war and various arguments for peace, as well as warfare throughout history. We study tactics and strategy and simulate battles against each other in different time periods (i.e. Napoleonic, Chariot, 4th Gen). It's a really interesting class. Any unique classes like this anyone else is taking this year?

Heh, I'm trying to go at a pace where I don't have time to take fun classes if they won't count towards my major...but my honors criminology class has been kind of interesting. Got to do a ridealong with a cop, tour a jail, and have a prison tour coming up. The books we've read on jails and the courts have been interesting as well. Most interesting class I've taken in college.

I'm taking a class about vampires and another about Germanic myths, legends, and sagas this semester. Next semester I'm taking a class where I get to study 4 dead celtic languages, so we'll see how that goes.

hmm well the weirdest one would be Revolution through ethnic studies.

basically talk about how much of an imperialistic pig the USA is, and how revolutions in the western world came about especially Latin American revolutions and what the US had to do with it.
