So I'm gonna be going on a cruise over Christmas departing from LA and going down to Puerto Vallarta, then up to Mazatlan, then over to Cabo San Lucas. I've been to Mexico once and I loved it I'm actually thinking about moving there when I'm older.

When I went there in 06 I was on a cruise that took us along the Yucatan peninsula on the eastern side of Mexico. I'm just wondering if someone who's been to any of these places or who lives in Mexico could let me know what to expect, where some high quality spots to hit up are, what the people are like, what to watch out for, or just anything like that.
