I thought it might be fun to talk about some movie monsters that bring out unintended laffs.

Like "Robot Monster"--featuring some guy in a gorilla suit with something like a goldfish bowl on his head.

Then there's "The Creeping Terror" (or was it horror?), which has this outer-space thingie that looks like a Chinese funeral procession--a long quilted carpet-like affair with a bunch of college kids underneath it (look close and in some scenes you can see their little sneaker-clad feet).

And "The Killer Shrews", which features collies with fake fangs as the titular monsters (and a heroine with a Swedish accent for no apparent reason). . . . .

I saw the first 5 minutes of Return of The Killer Tomatos the other day... that gets my vote.

EDIT: I just realised the first post said "unintended." Now I have to think this one over to get a proper answer.

^Yeah, that's why the serial killer in "Freak out" (2005) doesn't count, either.

That Leprechaun from the movie of the same name. I think Jennifer Aniston was in it. It always made me lol, especially because the spanish title translation for the movie is basically:

"The evil leprechaun from outer space". Like, couldn't they just call it "Duende (Leprechaun)?"

Invasion of the giant spiders.

Imagine if you will, a Volkswagen beetle with felt over it and a bunch of fake legs driving around slowly in a group of people.

I thought of a serious one, the alien/predator hybrid from AVP:R.

i saw Yetti last week on sci-fi.

i must admit, it was pretty awful. however, it was pretty entertaining, sci-fi is usually notorious for that.

Gremlins, my god, the Gremlins! 1 and 2 (which was superior).
