I have the inferior 40 gig ps3, and I'm asking if anyone has sold a ps3 to these guys before and how much they gave you for it?

I don't really want to drive all the way there and just get ripped off; I'd rather sell it to a friend in that case.

Unfortunately they don't give estimates over the phone.

they're probably gonna rip you off regardless, I would try craigslist or ebay first.

The place is seriously called Pawn America?

Honestly, with the state our economy is in, we probably should. Who would be interested though? Canada?

I have the 40gig PS3. What's so inferior about it? It plays all PS3 games fine and I got mine for free. I don't get the whole inferior part there, buddy.

Pawn America will pay more money for a ps3 with an 80 gig HD and backwards compatibility.

The inferior comment is subjective; you don't have to agree.

edit, now that I think of it...I might have the 60 gig. Hmmmm. I haven't used this thing in a while.

Put it up on craigslist. A lot better then ebay, especially if you live in a highly populated area. In Vancouver I put up my xbox 360 on craigslist, 3 phone calls the first day, sold on the second. Got 350$ for it while I paid 450$ for, with two games.

Also, on craigslist, you can also advertise you're willing to trade + money for an 80 or 160GB one.

I prefer craigslist much ahead of ebay, assuming you live in a highly populated area and have a high demand item (which the ps3 is). No strings attached with craigslist, you can deny selling it to anyone you want.

Only criminals and crackheads (excuse my redundancy) use pawn shops. Physically alter your PS3 so that it appears to be a 60gb model. I'm sure the tools necessary are nothing you cannot acquire with a quick trip to the local art store. Just dye/shave your hair and arrange a meeting at a random area far from your home. Or sell it in a nearby city. Inferior my ass.

EDIT: ASSUMING YOU USE CRAIGSLIST MOTHERFUCKER.
