Anybody have a recipe that's purely yours that you made all your own?
I made one called a pizza sandwich. You first toast bread, then you take tomato sauce and spread it on the toast. Put cheese and toppings on it, leaving them uncovered. Put them in the oven for a bit until the cheese is melted. Then put the pieces together. Yum.

Pretty much mixing anything edible in the fridge.
Once I had an onion, a can of tuna, half a bag of tortilla chips, tomato sauce and an almost rancid lemon. So I poured oil in a pan, tossed the tuna with the cut up onion, and afterwards some tomato sauce. Then I added some sauce, served and ate with tortilla chips and lemon. For some reason it tasted very, very delicious. Guess I was very hungry.

No recipe is purely yours.....people have tried and failed to cook different things together before.
Chicken Wrap Thingie
90ml XXXHot Nando's chilli sauce("borrowed" from work)
~1kg chicken breast, diced
Shredded lettuce
Tomato
Yoghurt
Lebanese bread(flat, round, pancake looking things)
Place chicken breast and chilli sauce into bowl. Allow to marinade for 5-10 minutes, then cook in the oven for 15-20. Meanwhile, place a small amount of yoghurt, tomato and lettuce on each lebanese bread. Once the chicken is cooked, place a small amount on each wrap, and roll up.
The sauce is fuckin hot :p(1 tiny drop had my eyes watering)
But the lettuce/tomato/yoghurt is good with it.

yeh this isnt so unique but sounds decent. subway just came out with a chicken pizziola or w/e sandwich which is pretty much like yours, but probably toasted faster than your conventional toaster.
i'll contribute w/e recipe i can remember later.
Simple pasta dish I've been making the past couple of days:
- Fettuccine
- Can of italian tomatos
- 1/2 teaspoon of mixed herbs (thyme, rosemary, sage, majoram and savory are in the bottle I use)
- Garlic powder (depends on how garlic-y you want it)
Put the tomatos into a saucepan with the mixed herbs and garlic powder and cook until all (or most of) the juice is gone. Cook the fettuccine however you normally do it and then when it's done and strained, put it on a plate and top with the tomatos. Put some grated parmesan cheese over the top if ya want.
It's easy to make, most of the time is spent trying to reduce the fucking juice from it. Doesn't taste too bad either, not the nicest, but edible.

Hmm...
Sometimes I like to get Hawaiian bread and add pineapple jam to it, then put tuna on it and make a Hawaiian sandwich :)

Dammit.
Synkk's Chicken de la Fond :)
Mince some onions (any type) and garlic and sautee in olive oil. Once browned, add some chicken breast fillets that have been dusted with any generic chicken seasoning. Fully cook the chicken. Once you take it out of the pan, add butter and worcestershire (or any similar sauce) sauce to the hot skillet (turn your heat on a low medium) and add some flour or corn starch to thicken your fond. (Note: you can add more butter and flour if you think you need to to change the texture and/or thickness) Allow the chicken breasts to rest for about 2 minutes in the microwave, then cut them into strips. Lay the strips on a bed of wild rice (or plain white instant rice is fine too) If the chicken's cooled beyond your liking microwave it for 30 secs or so then spoon on the fond.
I was going to post this in a thread, but it fits here. :)

Hickery BBQ Lay Ruffles things
Ranch
Toast
Cayenne
Garlic Salt
Mix up a hefty amount of cayenne and garlic salt with some ranch, and pour some over a bowl of chips (small).
Mash it all up nice and fine. I like using an ice cream scoop, but of course anything works.
Add the rest of the ranch as desired, or just spread some on the toast.
Nice and crunchy, with a hint of mushy, tangy with bold spiciness.
Or ketchup, mayo, and Hot Salt on toast. Not exactly original, but still delicious.

i make a mean drink. in a highball glass pour in 2 parts bourbon, 1 part cranberry, 1 part triple sec, a ice cube, an top with tonic water.
i call it a "lean fall"
Mushroom, steak and potato sandwich.
Get some big portobello mushroms, your favourite cut of budget/average priced meat (I used cheap sirloin for this), some Kumaras (any sweet potato will do) and some good bread.
Get a frying pan real hot, put olive oil in it, coat a steak with steak spice and minced garlic and cook till desired level. Just before taking out put a dollop of butter in the frying pan, let the steak coat in it, add a bit more garlic to the pan and cook the mushrooms in the butter.
Boil the sweet potatoes, mash, add milk and butter, then mash till a smooth and creamy consistency.
Put your steak, mushroom and sweet potato between two peaces of good bread. Enjoy.

Not exactly. Stocks can be added to fonds. Once you learn this technique a whole new world opens up, and it's not hard.
If anyone tries my recipe tell me what you think. :)

That, In NewZealand, is called a 'MouseTrap'
Great stoner food, use the crusts too.
Mix grated cheese with a egg & use that, put Vegemite on the cheese, baked beans or spagetti etc.

The hotel I work at used to make these things for room service called "Warm Ciabattas"
Ciabatta bread with basil pesto, wood roasted peppers and buffalo mozzarella.
I took this and added to it.
I removed the wood roast peppers...They're nice but sweet-ish. Not right. Substitute them for raw green peppers, add some Tobasco and Cajun spice so you have your sharp taste. Then add some mango chutney (not much or it's fucked!)
I love 'em!

DarkSkye's turkey burgers
1 package of 97% fat free ground turkey
4 buns
1 white onion
1 package of baby bella mushrooms (sliced)
1 jar of minced garlic
soy sauce
powdered sugar
flour
butter
1 slice of white bread (crumbs)
grated parmesan
4 slices aged swiss
turkey bacon
ice
ranch dressing (optional)
take the turkey out of the package and start kneading it. add about a half cup of parmesan. Somehow (I use a magic bullet) get your bread into small crumbs. add them as well.
Take your baby bellas, and sautee them in a garlic/soy/powdered sugar sauce on med/low heat. play around with the sauce until the flavor is right.
preheat your oven to broil.
slice your onion. be sure that each of the 4 burgers has at least two decent sized rings. Pat out the burgers, and form them around the onion rings, being sure the middle of each patty is indented so the burgers dont ball up.
Heat your frying pan with either butter or oil (or both). add a small amount of soy sauce for color. Heat it on med/high heat. Add your burgers, flipping occasionally. When mostly cooked, take an ice cube and throw it in the pan. move your pan around to make sure the irritated oil covers the patties.
Once the burgers are cooked, stick them (pan and all) into the oven. take your buns and butter them, and put them on a cookie sheet along with your turkey bacon. After 2-3 minutes take out the burgers and put in the buns//bacon. Take out the buns when they are browned, and the bacon when it is crispy.
assemble, and add condiments. dip in ranch dressing if you so choose. Enjoy!

This week I discovered a newish idea.
I know that if you boil a sausage in water it swells up a lot.
So I emptyed some Pineapple juice into a pot & boiled some pork sausages in it untill they swelled up 3 times their size.
Then I tipped the juice out (for later) & fried the sausages.
Yum. Great with cream cheese.

oh yeah, forgot to mention that akin to the "pizza sandwich " idea, i once tried the "sushi sandwich"
basically, you subsitute the rice for white bread, put 2 squares of nori in it, then put in sushi stuff and wasabi
