An ex Msgt once told me before I enlisted that the best friends to make are in the armory and in supply.

They chow hall personel and the mechanics are on that list too. Trust me.
Yeah I know some guys that got some ACOG's that aren't on the books and will never be accounted for. Hell I got a couple of Surefire's, auto-open knives, a nice leather holster, and a bipod.
