Spock and Kirk both look and sound like they should be on the O.C, not commanding a Space Ship. I really hope this doesn't end up as just another action movie, but that's what the trailer looks like; a lot of lasers and things blowing up. Star Trek should be more than that.

If you think about it, the cast is the same age as most soldiers and such, so...I suppose it's not really that weird to have a "young" cast.

Checed them on imdb and they're all in their late 20s, early 30s, so they're not that young really. Do see what you mean with the action thing but you can't expect the complexity of Star Trek to be shown in one brand new feature film. I still think its gonna suck.

Not true. Read up on the U.S space program most of the early astronauts were in their late 30’s. Alan Shepard was like 38 when he sat atop a Redstone rocket and blasted off into space.

Anyway, can't wait for the movie.
