quick question.
just wondering, would a criminal record affect a persons credit or loans?
thanks,

In the USA, it will not, except as an indirect byproduct (i.e. you go to jail for two years so you miss credit card payments). Offenses themselves do not go on your credit report, as they are not extensions of credit or loans.

No, but living in a bad (i.e. black) neighborhood sure will.
Oddly enough, when dealing with local businesses, such as rent-to-own places and fast food places that deliver, reggie_love is exactly correct. It won't affect your bureau credit scores, but good luck having a pizza delivered late night in a bad part of town!

Many apartment buildings will not allow felons to rent.
