I was wondering, what is the process of turning glycerin into nitroglycerin?

This information will be put into my assignment in a non-dangerous way, and will not be used to make any sorts of explosive device(s).

Make sure you mention Ascanio Sobrero more than that fag Nobel as all Nobel did was soak it into shit where Sobrero actually invented the shit. And be sure to state that it really is no where near as sensitive as it is pictured in movies.

You can make the process of nitrating glycerin a lot more safe by running to the store, and picking up some k&Y warming lubricant.

After you mix the Nitric and sulfuric acid, drop about a teaspoon of glycerin and a bunch of the K&Y in the mix.

I imagine so yes, the end result is that you still have a liquid explosive that (how much?) more sensitive.

lol thats what i was thinking

strong oxidiser, deisel fuel, Fill bottle with newspaper(balled)

Pour in some deiseil, cap, and wait. 10mins, shake.

Open cap, leave 5 mins. Get the oxidiser, wrap in another newspaper ball, stuff in.

Drill/melt hole in lid, get 1foot of visco, push through, hole, with 2inchis showin, force rest though into bottle. cap.

leave 30 mins, light and hold!(dont really hold)

Apply Tin and HCl to reduce it to glycerine triamine

Then (of the top of my head) convert it into a diazonium salt (using sodiumnitrite)
(Not too sure if you can turn glycerine into a diazonium salt though, I think it requires an aromatic system)

Spontaneous reaction with water would leave you with glycerine

Well all I did was text and draw pictures this whole year. So I guess that's what I get.

Most college classes allow students to use a laptop for taking notes... so do so... and use the wifi plus an IM program to type out text messages on a full size keyboard.
