I think anyone that can't put their phone down long enough to talk to you is rude. Anyone that can't put the phone down when they reach the counter at a restaurant or store is an asshole that deserves to have the phone shoved up their ass. Just my two cents.

I agree, but we have a girl at work that texts so it's quiet and she doesn't get caught or noticed as much. I think it's silly and immature to be doing that when you are supposed to be working, but I don't snitch on her. It makes her look silly enough already! :p

yeah, i hate when people do that. someone did that to me a few weeks ago. some asshole that i hadn't seen in a while, all we were doing was saying hey, what's up, and he has to pull out his phone and text like a douche bag. i should've punched him in his face.

I never use text messages. I use my phone for voice calls and nothing else. Text messages are indeed gay.
