I love your designs. You are the American Paul Luty you know?
Who else thinks he needs to make a webpage with his designs?
You, sir, are the stuff man should be made out of!

i just cast a solid bronze sword too, i'll post pics once its done.
Hi
That has the makings of a real nice piece of work. Just wish it was legal to make stuff like that where I come from.
I know it wouldn't be legal but it must be tempting to make it full auto, dont know how you control yourself.
I hope its just optical in the pic but on second look it looks to be bent.
Anyway keep up the good work and post more pics as work progresses.
Been checking out your sten build but unfortunately the pics arent there apart from just one.

I need to start doing things like this, I forsee it being a very useful skill in the future. Nice work man, many you can go into more detail?

I demand video.
Man that's cool shit.
How does one even get started with this? Recommended literature, anyone?

Out of curiosity, how long did that take you?

i've actually been working on this gun on and off for the past 6 months. it started as a kit to make a semi auto sten, but when the striker was setting of rounds that didn't chamber properly i decided to convert it to a hammer fired weapon.
first you need to get very good at welding, then its a matter of screwing up the fewest number of dummy guns before you attempt to weld a more expensive kit.

There's a few websites out there that deal with homemade guns, there is also a good torrent that i picked up a while back, I think it was named "Gunsmithing" and it's around 850mb with almost 300 files from legit gunsmithing books written in the 50's to blue prints of 1911's, AR's, Stens ect as well as how-to PDFs for improvised guns simler to napalms except made completely from scratch.
And nice work napalm, we need a video tho ;) .

What kind of welder are you using? OA, mig, flux? That reminds me, I need an oa set up, i have some ideas for things i wanna try, and you've inspired me to start seriously pursuing this stuff, but first i think an ak build, i'm gonna start a thread about that.
I almost double posted, but here are two links to torrents that The_Savage was talking about.

looks to be an updated version of what I have with and extra folder just for AR's.

Looks almost like a bastardized AR-15 lower.
