We just launched a new website for academic documents sharing for students and lecturers at:
http://www.wepapers.com
Any feedback will be welcomed.

Wow, this is phenomenal! You have no idea how useful this will be to me for school, debate, programming, and just having fun reading and learning. Great idea! I think I've got some papers to upload. Are you only looking for current things, or is there room for things by Voltaire, Foucault, Plato, etc?
Very nice.

Vanhalla and enkrypt0r, you have no idea how much your feedback is encouraging! It took us no less than 19 months to launch this project, as students.
enkrypt0r - every piece of relevant academic paper will do. Content is king (http://www.akamarketing.com/content-is-king.html) :)
We are shamelessly asking you people helping us spreading the word, as we are fighting with bare hands for open access knowledge.
I will be uploading the CD from my cell biology course as we speak (type?). This is great stuff and I've already learned something useful; this could eliminate textbooks for me altogether. I'm taking this to lab tips.

Sounds great, dude. You've clearly put a lot of work into this, and I know that I'll get a lot out of it, as will others. I've been torrenting a lot of papers, articles, books, etc lately, and I'll upload a ton when I get a chance. I'm excited to contribute to such a great cause.
This has a ton of potential, and could really take off well.
Never mind, it seems that there is no batch upload capability for this (at least not one that I've noticed). I gave you some feedback in the feedback section (which was cleverly placed) and will be uploading my CD when such a capability is realized.
Thanks for the site it looks great.

You can upload more than 1 file at a time, just use the shift or control key. It doesn't take long

So I was reading a paper about genetics and an idea of a really awesome function came into my head.
A random paper button.
Just a thought.

Labeling them does.

looks good. dont have time to read any yet, but it sure looks promising.
This site looks really wonderful in essence. When it has more organization/content I just might be a regular visitor of the site. Very good job/idea and many congratulations to the entire team that worked on this project. Also, public domain text might not be a bad idea to look into.

I checked it out, It's great. Being a dumbfuck who always wanted to read slightly more interesting materiel but having had a hard time finding intermediate reading I officially endorse this website
i'll agree, it actually looks very good. the biggest benifit i can see is that it allows you to read papers on topics that are too complex in a textbook and too simplified on the web.
its such a shame that i just got my degree, this could have come in handy.
I'll bite and say the site is looking good. Some usability issues (e.g., the content of each document is 99% not-searchable), but a good start.
Have you considered the legality of the endeavor? Chapters from textbooks are definitely going to be a problem if the site gains any real exposure, and even class notes (Powerpoints, lectures, etc.) might be covered under some sort of copyright.
Also, any thoughts on the role of wePapers vs. other established repositories (like government-funded PubMed (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez/))? Will you even be worrying about journal articles as much? Are your target audiences entirely different? Your About page says wePapers has "the kind of papers you'd have to dig for in dusty library basements and still not find what you're looking for", so I am guessing the audiences aren't too different.
