it was pretty good in my opinion, not spectacular, but still pretty good. some of it was kind of meh. like certain parts with bella were fucking annoying...and who the fuck decided that vampires in sunlight look like they've got glitter sprinkled all over them. wtf? but the overall finished product wasn't half bad and i actually enjoyed watching it.

i havn't read the books, but i think i might give them a try after watching the movie.

it was alright..about 5% action and 95% love story/filler/watching the vamp and the girl get to know each other.

-no vampire had any fangs
-they weren't flying they were jumping from tree to tree
-the dr/father vamp was the coolest
-now vamps have skin like diamonds that look like sparkles in the light
-vamps are so strong that they have to play baseball in a thunderstorm because whenever they hit the ball it flies so fast it breaks the sound barrier and the thunder covers it up
-the new girl in school (main chick character) instantly has 300 friends as soon as she steps on the schools property

also the main chick and the main vamp blinks and makes way too many breathing noises in the movie. also the chick makes fucking ridiculous facial expressions that are annoying.

I give it a 4/10 because its 95% love story

OP- you should open your mind before you just go on an ignorant rant. you are completely entitled to feel the way you do but perhaps you should watch the movie first or hell READ THE BOOK because its way better than the movie to begin with. it's actually a pretty interesting look into the lore of vampires and their relationship to humans on top of that it has an interested and complex romance layered with some intense action.

The books are actually really good. Give them a shot. My girlfriend made me read the first one and I loved it.
