This season now has to be the best seasons of any show I've ever seen. They really got down the character's personalities to interact really well together. And now the show is exactly what is should be. So farfetched as to what goes on, but you still for a second that it could be a real place in Philadelphia with those characters.

I made this thread to talk about how awesome the show is with other fans. If you're not a fan explain your reasoning for not having this your favorite show of all time.

I have nothing but great things to say about IASIP. I list it up there with The Office as one of the best comedies ever. The humor is spot on and if someone doesn't "get" the humor, then they are likely stupid. I can only hope that they continue their success with more and more seasons.

Seriously? I think this is the shows worst season so far and marks a downturn in overall quality. They've begun to rely too much on established jokes (yeah, dee is ugly, dennis is pretty and mac likes karate, i get it) and they also seem to be trying to outdo themselves on how gross they can be, instead of writing great stories like the first few seasons. Honestly, compare this season to the brilliance of episodes like 'Underage Drinking' and '100 Dollar Baby'.

Don't get me wrong, it's still a good show that makes me laugh, but since it's one of my favorite shows currently airing i'm going to be super-critical of it, and I don't think it's as good as it was or as it could be.

I thought the last episode of the season was the best so far. That fucking "rape" scene. I kinda thought they would try to get back at that weird family (I forgot their names).

I was slightly disappointed that Rickety Cricket didn't end up in the finale somewhere, or the McBoyles. But he was pretty great in the last episode they put him in...you know, the one where his head gets blown off? yyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssssSSSSSSSSSSSSSSssss ssshhhhhhhhhhh (its hard to mimic the whistle from Mac's wooden teeth.)

I only watched a couple eps this season 'cause I moved out of my parents house and don't want to pay for TV. I'll get around to downloading it soon. What I saw was hilarious.

You know the more I think about it I agree with this.

The shiner episodes from this were "The Gang Solves the Gas Crisis", "Extreme: Homemaker Over Edition", the musical finale.

agree agree agree. i still love the show but agree.

Not to say this season didn't have it's high points. I thought Rob Thomas and Sinbads' guest appearances were inspired.
