I've tried the 'updated and improved' demo and I must say it's not a bad game. A bit on the difficult side (due to the random map generator) and the translation is somewhat spotty (as is with most Russian/East European games), but overall the game is more than the sum of its parts.

Yeah, I've been playing this. Reminds me of the older Heroes of Might & Magic games combined with a basic RPG format. Pretty fun game, although a little difficult.

Combat mechanics are superior to HoM&M's with one oddly glaring exception: ranged LoS. They forgot to add the requisite (by now) ranged combat obstructions (from terrain features and enemy/own troops).
