My 88' town car needs a new alternator. I just bought one, but I don't know where it is under the hood to replace the part. If anyone knows or could link me a diagram I would really appreciate the info.

Look for the part that looks like the part you bought. Should be a fairly simple matter of unbolting the old one and bolting in the new one.
