View Full Version : Reccomend me a good Nintendo DS game
A game that is out currently. Because, I am heading to the store shortly, and I've been hankering to pick up a new title.
I love side-scrollers, casual games, adventure games and RPGS.
The current titles I own are :
Space Invaders Extreme
Contra 4
NEW! Super Mario Bros.
Mariokart DS
Nanostray 2
Pokemon Pearl
Animal Crossing : Wild World
The World Ends With You
Advance Wars : Days of Ruin
Sonic Rush
Geometery Wars : Galaxies
Bomberman
Castlevania : Portrait of Ruin
Brain Age 2
Puzzle Quest
Any games that aren't on this list, that you have found suprisingly addicting/large replay value - please! Recommend!

Believe me. I love the DS so much, on several occasions I've been tempted to smash it off the ground, pick up the pieces, put them in a blender, hammer them into a fine powder and shoot them.
But....um...care to like - oh, I don't know - contribute?
Mariokart!!
Jesus fucking Christ, are you serious?
The list of games I own is small. Less than 15.
I wrote them down, just so no one would recommend me something I already have.
I get one reply, that's completely useless and irrelevant - and another reply that states I should get a game THAT I'VE CLEARLY ALREADY FUCKING STATED I OWN.
I am serious. I can't afford to have game mags delivered, and yes I am aware that I could go read reviews of games online (which I do) but I was just curious what another totse user would recommend. Guess I should have seen this bullshit coming from a mile away.
What a useless, useless forum.

castlevania: order of ecclesia. just downloaded it to my m3.
pretty good so far. they've finally taken castlevania out of dracula's castle for once in i dunno how many years.
also, bleach: blade of fate or the new one (can't think of the name off the top of my head) are some of the best fighters on the ds.

elite beat agents. easy to learn difficult to master, good replay value, decent selection of songs if you aren't too picky. (they aren't all h4rdc0r3 M3ta1)

I do not currently own Zelda - is it as good as everyone says?
I think I can pick it up real cheap at one of my local gamestores - does it compare to all the other Zelda titles?

I loved the hell out of it with only two complaints. First, they turned the difficulty way down on this one. I think I only died a couple of times on my entire play through. Second, there's very little replay value to this game. After I beat the game a couple of times I havn't been back.
The multiplayer is also interesting, but it gets old fast.
It's certainly worth playing, I just wish there was more to it.
Whatever happened to adding a master quest after you beat Zelda? I've only seen it in a couple of games, but it made playing through again a lot more worthwhile.
Kirby: Canvas Curse; Ive had this for nearly 3 years and ive only gotten 68%
Kirby: Squeak Squad: Pure side scrolling fun.
