It's pretty rare that I buy ice cream, but the Stephen Colbert's Americone Dream from Ben and Jerry's is actually really damn good.
But I guess my perennial favorites are Rocky Road and Cookies and Cream as far as more common flavors go.
But I eat like 3 tubs of ice cream a year at best so maybe my opinion isn't too valid.

Plain vainilla with like a million toppings. Sprinkles, chocolate and strawberry sauce, more sprinkles, fruit, etc.

Oreo is pretty good too.

I tend to prefer fruity ice creams like sorbets and shit like that.

I think I'm the only person alive who despises mint chocolate chip ice cream. In fact, I don't like anything mint flavored aside from toothpaste/mouthwash and...well, actual mints.

But I had some kind of Fried Ice Cream flavor from some company, I forgot which one...was basically cinnamon-vanilla flavored ice cream with honey, caramel, and fried cinnamon tostada pieces.

Cake Batter is good assuming it's done right. I can't fuck with Cold Stone anymore because the shit always seems half-melted by the time it gets to my cup and I don't like ice cream unless it's practically frozen solid. People who let the shit melt and eat the milky-cream-soup concoction that results make me want to vomit.

Mint Chocolate Chip has always been a favorite of mine. I like Americone Dream and half Baked a lot as well. The ice creams with stuff mixed in, like the afore mentioned ones are pretty epic. Cold Stone ice cream Originals or whatever they are called are pretty fucking tasty. Also, Blizzards fucking rule.
