Yeah - his house is near the diner the kid runs off to.
Basically across the road on the corner.
Dad's dead though.
You walk around a bit and find the train station, go down and kill a bunch of ants - eventually you'll find a scientist guy who explains why the ants can breath fire (OOPS on his part) and he gets you to kill the guards of the queen.
You can kill the queen too, but he doesnt want you to.

yeah if you get the fathers key then head into the shack next to the house and go thought it you should find some stuff on the computer etc that will add a map marker to tell you where you need to go

Get the child at heart perk then get the kids at little lamplight to let him in.

woman in the hotel is his aunt, speak to her then sort that out go back to him and let him know. Done and done

Tips for Fire Ants.

If you can, wear power armor when near them. Obviously. Use a heavy gun or sniper if you're far away but if you can sneak up on them a combat shotgun to the back of the head would be great. If they shoot fire don't strafe, they'll just follow you, instead run into the flame and jump over them.

I like to look badass while carrying around my flamer.

But, I haven't come across Ranger Armor yet.

this quest isn't to terribly hard I thought that the one of the hardest in the game was the Wasteland Survival Guide when serching for the history of Rivet city if you completed it to the fullest

I like to look badass while carrying around my flamer.

But, I haven't come across Ranger Armor yet.

That's because you have to go to the doctors at ghoul city, and convince the cod to awaken comarised ranger reilley.

You then go on a mission to get her team out of north DC, which requires you to kill precisely 6 million super mutants, those slug creatures, and possibly a bunch of calon company rangers.

Tedious and annoying.

However, it's worth it if you get the map moduling mission from reilley after they're back at their ranger compound, i got like 2500 caps for all my locations...

Ahh, I have many... favorites are these two.

Juggernaut: I plan on creating an out of proportion super mutant with rediculous stats, then making an army of guys in power armor with miniguns and flamers and having them and me go to war with the Juggernaut.

House of Earthly Delights: Prostitutes, alchohol and drugs! Basically the exact same thing from Morrowind.

Science labcoat FTW. For I am a man of SCIENCE! Also, about the fire ants, my game fucked up, and the queen would teleport through walls and attack me from behind. Absolutely terrifying.
