i have googled and googled and googled some more buti can not find what im looking for.

hypothetically, lets say i organized a community protest in favor of marijuana law reform.

at wood stock most people openly took lsd and various other drugs and it was very peaceful and law enforcement made no attempts to arrest everyone on acid.

more than likely these were the 2 main reasons:

it was a different time
their was not enough hand cuffs or room in the jail

so i was wondering if anyone knows weather or not the smoking of marijuana as a statement of the way you feel at a public peaceful protest is grounds for arrest?

and:
if not, what do you think is the approximate minimum number of people involved in the protest that can "not be stopped?"

also i live in fl., usa

Any gathering can be ordered to disperse if circumstances warrant. Going through the proper channels and obtaining necessary permission can go a long way to reducing the chances of it. If your crowd starts to become unruly and poses a threat to persons, property, or order, you could still be dispersed.

^This, and if the soul point of the meeting is to break the law then it won't be permitted in the first place.

If you advertise it as a protest where 100's of people will attend intending to smoke marijuana there's a high chance the police will be there waiting to disperse the crowd and make arrests before it even gets going.
