Ok , I absolutely loved Ninja Scroll when i first saw it so can anyone recomend me some anime like it.

I haven't watched Ninja Scroll but if you want some Feudal Era style anime I recommend Rurouni Kenshin - Tsuiokuhen OVA or Trust and Betrayal.
Samurai 7 is also based in the past Japanese feudal system but it has some robots and was based on the movie Seven Samurai.

FOR THE WIN, really!

I strongly advice this one. It's a very close description of Japan in the Edo period. The samurai caste system etc. Let me spoil the first scene for you just to get you excited:

It starts off with a woman commiting seppuku (ritual suicide by disembowelment). You have to cut open your own stomach and then a second cuts off your head. Thats the common myth. However they made this so accurate. Being she is a woman, she doesn't have to actually pick up a knive and cut herself, she can just lean over and touch a fan. At the moment she does that, her head is chopped. And no, the head was never chopped off cleanly, they tried to leave a piece of flesh there so the head wouldn't go flying through the room. Don't mind the detailed insides of a person's body though!

InuYasha was always a favorite of mine. While it's not necessarily feudal in plot, the majority of it takes place in the feudal era. (But, avoid the last season of it or so, when goes to shit and becomes like that song that repeats "JOHN", "MARSHA"; except it's more like "INUYASHA!", "KAGOME!"

I can't believe nobody's mentions seirei no moribito yet. I'll tell you right now that it is better/true to the feudal era than any of the anime mentioned in this thread. They even ran it on adult swim a few months back.
