No. All rifle and pistol cartridges are kept behind the counter and wally world I.D's for ammunition. It's store policy. If you are in the south you might try a co-op, but they usually don't carry pistol cartridges.

Unless you jump between the clerk and a customer to take his ammo, you aren't going to get it for free without breaking the case open yourself.
