So I'm a senior in high school, and I plan on graduating early in January and working full time until the Summer to travel a bit and whatnot. But when I get back I don't know what to do. I want to pursue a career in Video/andorBroadcasting but I don't want to go to college, then get out being 80 thousand dollars in debt. So I was thinking of leaving America and going to another country to go to college. Any ideas/comments/suggestions?

Um, going to college outside of the country is your most expensive option. In state public schools are the cheapest. You will pay out the ass to be a foreign student somewhere. Countries that have socialized education only apply that rule to citizens of that country. It would take several years for you to gain citizenship, and you'd have to have something to offer other than "I want to go to school here for free and mooch off your system."

If you want do an exchange year overseas. Otherwise its not worth it.

I heard that Canadian schools are actually cheaper than most American colleges.

Canadian Community Colleges maybe.

And that would only be for Canadians, not you foreigners.

Yes...for Canadian citizens...which was the whole point of my reply.
Unless you plan on going to Oxford, Cambridge, or maybe McGill (or some other top notch foreign school like the IITs in India; I don't know any names of any other good ones), I don't really see the point in going abroad to get your degree.
American education is still the best in the world, you can do alot more with a degree from a B school here then the same tier school outside this country.

I applied to, and got accepted to, McGill myself. I know they are supposed to be like one of the best schools in Canada, but I was surprised at how easy their application was. I mean I think I did it online in like 10 minutes. There were no essays, and I'm not even sure if I had to send off any letters of recommendation. My GPA was 4.0, ACT 30, and I had basically no extracurricular activities, yet I got in. Heh, maybe because they were looking for some diversity in getting someone from America, but I was not impressed with their supposed selectivity. I didn't go there cause it costs too god damn much and they gave me zero financial aid.

American Universities always seem to be the most expensive, but every country has their own system. It may be possible to go to a British University, where fees for British students add up to about $20,000 for three years tuiton fees. Living expensives for those three years are going to be a bare minimum of about $50,000 though. This is me doing a loose currency calculation mind.
Study in Sweden, tuition fees are fully subsidised by the government, even for foreigners.

Lots of courses are taught in English aswell.
Not to sound like a recruiter but:
The military will pay your all the way if you get accepted to a college/uni.
Just join the military and get accepted or start college and join.
My dad was in his early 40s and went back to college for an extra degree since he had the time. I don't think they do it anymore, but they gave him a free laptop.
The army also sponsored something that gave me like 400 bucks worth of SAT and ACT prep software and books for free.

I'm canadian and we will literally ship anyone from the states in (who has a clean record and decent grades) in if they are willing to get specific degrees. If memory serves, nursing is one of those degrees.

Enroll in college, and then join the military? Wouldn't you have to take time off of school to go do your...military duties? I don't see how these two full time things would go together.

The military folks do their thing in the summers, on weekends/holidays, and after they graduate.

In Canada, McGill doesn't have the same reputation that it does in the US.
Most post-secondary schools here really couldn't care less about volunteer work, clubs, or essays. They feel safe in assuming that if you have the classes and marks to get in, then you can succeed there.
