Alright, I've always wanted to have a CB Radio for emergencies and such. So here's my first question:

Can you plug a CB Radio into a normal household outlet without modifying it in any way or buying any addition accessories?

My second question:
I'm gonna buy a cheapie for now, just to start with. Between these two choices, which one would you recommend?

This one?

Or this one?

Thanks!

No. Those are designed for a car or truck and probably require 12v.

For a cheap solution, I used an old computer power supply, AT/ATX doesn't matter. Although you will need a simple switch to turn the ATX power supply on, where the AT power supply already has a separate button.

yellow is 12v
black is ground
