I was fortunate enough to view this movie on tv in my part of the country the other night....I must admit that I changed channels a few times as it seemed to be a bit boring but the fact that Russell Crow was the main actor it caught my interest....I dont think a movie as great as this will ever be on tv again...The movie was about a guy named John Nash who could have been another Albert Einstein but the delusions of his mind prevented this.....

This. For a while I thought that maybe he was right, and he would have to challenge everyone telling him he was crazy...

Yeah, it's a pretty good film if you pay reasonable attention.

John Nash didn't have visual hallucinations like in the movie. He had however, auditory hallucinations which was hard to portray in a movie.

It would have been even better if they would have included everything they omitted from his life. Such as:



Fathered a bastard child
Dead beat dad
His rants would usually turn to anti-semitic rants
Tried to escape to Europe denouncing his US citizenship
Having extra marital affairs... with guys!

Having number 3 included in the movie would of been especially interesting. Sure there are racists and anti-Semites out there. But to have actually read the logic behind anti-semiticism from someone like Nash would have been interesting. But good luck with getting anything like that out of an industry heavily funded by Jewish producers.
