I live in Kelowna, and the nearest passport office is in Vancouver. Granted, there is a "receiving agent" in Kelowna but they won't guarentee a new passport by christmas. Is there any kind of service you can use to represent you at the passport office? Mailing it takes up to 4 weeks, something I don't have time for.

If you have an itinerary, they can rush it and have it for you in 8-10 days or so.

i dont know how canada works, but in the usa, for a stiff fee you can get it fast tracked. or you can go to where ever it is they issue them an get one made same day, again for a stiff fee.

that is how we do things down here, not sure how you canadians do it.

If I remember right, the fee is around 10 dollars.
