Post a take down fighting move that will put an end to the beginning of any encounter. Literally just ending it on the spot.

First, always get the person to hit you first, get in their face but be ready to expect anything. Wait until you have hands on you first. I'm going to explain this assuming you attack from his rightside (your left)

Scenario: A punch or a shove coming your way.

Step 1: Step to side, using outside hand to "clap" the person's hand out of the way.

Step 2: Now use your inside hand to elbow in the temple, then the nose.

Step 3: Use your outside hand, and place the point of your elbow directly down between where the bicep and forearm meet.

Step 4: Go under the person's arm, and place your hand behind his back.

Step 5: Get behind him, with your right foot back.

Step 6: Push to ground.

With that technique you can do a number of things to the person before sending them to the ground, with the way you have their arm wrapped, you can break the arm in several ways.

Inb4 kids read this and try it because they 'now know how to fight'.

It also sounds like you tried to describe a pretty basic hip toss or heel hook, but I can't tell very well. You might look into using terms like live side and dead side, describe what arm the opponent is attacking with, etc. It's also definitely not guaranteed to do anything. If you fight much, or really get into any martial arts beyond basic techniques, you'll notice that people can counter this fairly easily.

Also, you can't learn or teach fighting on the internet.

Going into a fight with some preset combo prepared in your head is about as effective as going into a fight with the intention of tickling them to death. While it does appear that I have just regurgitated the above post it has to be said that most of the people who think like this lie awake at night thinking about what they would do in certain fight situations. If you are one of these people then you will just end up getting your arse kicked when it comes down to it.

Fuck dreaming of the perfect takedown and start teaching yourself to just be able to throw a good punch and kick and to learn the science of combat.

Here's a good internet move.

If the gun is running in to tackle you, step back, look scared, make him more confident, when he goes low, grab the back if his head, step in, and knee him to the face.

That works for a street fight.

Unless that's what he wanted you to do AND WAS SETTING YOU UP.

That works better if the opponent's head is on the inside, rather than outside (where one would perform a guillotine). I believe I was taught it as "facemasking" where I would use my forearm to push the opponent's head off-center as I based out, got a one-handed clinch on him, and then used my live knee to strike.

iv found that an elbow to the face often stops someone wanting to fight you, firstly cos it fuckin hurts and also cos it bleeds loads, even if nothing is broken or even that damaged.

I agree with this guy. This is a really effective takedown.

I only attack/rape small children and women so usually it's not that big of a deal.
