and finding no one there
symptomatic of my preaching of "no self" and a little cosmic joke or is this implying I'm some sort of vampire? hah.
I guess that's a good thing.
I have to tell this since you've paralleled the memory, once I dreamt I was in a food place somewhere I wasn't used to with a person I was relaxed around and yet too wasn't used to. I went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror, and I had different hair, different skin, and a weird shirt.
Then about 3-6 months later I ended up living the dream one day working with a friend I knew as a kid, in DC, eating at pizza shop. My hair grew out, my skin tanned, and I was wearing the same blue work shirt I had on in my dream.
Nice.
:/
Funneh you bring up dreams today.
I'm going w/ vampire

I might agree with you except the experiences I had afterwards were in the realm of pure buddha nature
and then I fell into lust & degeneration
as usual
How did you feel when you looked into the mirror?

How did you feel when you looked into the mirror?
no feelings at all, it was pure observation, very limited in the way of thoughts as well
I mean, everything I felt I just knew but who can really trust their knowledge?
I knew that what was being said was my truth which is true beyond truth because the void justifies and condemns and balances all
I even put on my hat and it started to half disappear as if saying "even yr petty trinkets won't make up a Self"

it means nothing, nevermind
no feelings at all, it was pure observation, very limited in the way of thoughts as well
I mean, everything I felt I just knew but who can really trust their knowledge?
I knew that what was being said was my truth which is true beyond truth because the void justifies and condemns and balances all
I even put on my hat and it started to half disappear as if saying "even yr petty trinkets won't make up a Self"
But you know, this is what exactly what I wanted to tell you about vampiricism. But you know, you said it yourself, you know.
Oh oh ohh Good day.
Also on the metaphor:
I might agree with you except the experiences I had afterwards were in the realm of pure buddha nature
and then I fell into lust & degeneration
as usual
But you know, isn't this just the duality we've been looking for?
So you say you were an emotional vampire, then you were the opposite, and then you fell into lust and degeneration?
Surely flowing into your is smooth!
iddit: Oh and you know I should thank you for that experience. It rubbed off on me very well. *shrinks* *grows* *shoots fireball* *collects coin* *saves princess* *does it again* *1up*
doubiddit: look what I found:

Well the vampire thing was more of a joke, I don't really think I'm a vampire.
the whole duality from buddha to lustful sin is part of my karma, I've still got a lot to work out and I won't be able to stay in the higher realms until it's all paid for, maybe even in double.
and then there's still the work of the bodhisattva.
and then there's still the work of the bodhisattva.
I dunno I just do stuff sometimes
Was it a black mirror and were you scrying?
