this is a copy of the speech i will be delivering at a local meeting for autoworkers and concerned residents. input appreciated.
"hey, here's an idea. why don't we all drop what we're doing and go out and buy a brand new fucking ford, chrysler, or GM made car! yeah, that's a great idea. it'll cost a shitload, not last as long as other cheaper, foreign cars, not have as good gas mileage as foreign cars, and because the companies are apparently run by drunken sailors, there's no guarantee they'll even be around in a few years to honor that bloated warranty.
why has it come to this? the american car industry was once a great empire, employing hundreds of thousands of americans in stable jobs, and providing consumers with cheap, reliable transportation. THEN WE GOT BUTT FUCKED BY JAPANESE. or did we? it appears to have been a simultaneous buttfuck and jackoff by american companies. why didn't they keep up? the fuck were they doing? they could've been waaay ahead of those tiny dicked asians by now. FUCKING IDIOTS. GM had an electric car some 15 years ago. now they're all like "omfg hold up wait for us to get dis chevy volt electric car developed OMFG ur gonna luv it, no mor gas!11"
