So In the midst of our environmental and energy crisis, there has been a scramble for finding sources of alternative energy. Now, in my lab, I have been working on constructing a vehicle that runs on a renewable resource that all of us can produce ourselves.

What is this revolutionary fuel you ask? Urine. I have successfully made a vehicle that runs on urine on a small scale (sort of like an RC car.) I am now working on making it into an actual car. Just imagine, you're on the road and you have to really let out a leak. Now, you always have a place to go, the fuel tank! And you will never have to pay for your fuel again!

Hopefully I will have a prototype of this vehicle in the next few months.

Hope the mileage is good. Urine stations would be pretty weird, but piss varies from time to time so piss stations would be needed, I think. Sounds doubtful that urine would be a viable fuel, though.

im guessing some kind of pre-treatment is required? Are you using urea as the fuel? Combustion or electrochemical cell?

I'm really curious about this, could you please elaborate (assuming your not under confidentiality and all that).

Unless you're somehow purporting to use the trace urea and stuff in the urine (which there's just not enough of to do much of anything with), this will simply be a water-based fuel cell, which is old technology in itself, only you'll have to filter the hell out of the piss before it goes in. Just not viable.

No not a big area in comparison to total land but in comparison to how much solar PV we currently have installed its an absolutely massive area.
