Ok I do not know if this is the right forum, it all depends on your point of view.


Ok so all these abilities have to do with controlling your mind and it's electromagnetic radiation field.

Psychokinesis is used to harness energy and I believe is the basis for all of these.

Electrokinesis is controlling the energy in your body to produce shocks and release of electromagnetic wave sin the form of electricity.

Telekinesis is harnessing the EMF energy to move things around you with your mind.

Pyrokinesis is using this energy to control heat.

Biokinesis is the use of this energy for medical healing and procedures.

First of those are very basic definitions, if you have more post it. All of these take rigorous amount of meditation to just get started. Even more concentration is needed to practice it. Of all of these has anybody here accomplished any of these things or have more information on it. I meditate almost everyday just to free my mind and relieve stress I have read up on these topics and am interested. Are any of these worth my time? Also so more information would be greatly appreciated especially from experience. I have found some on the internet but not alot.

I would read the book 'initiation into hermetics" by Franz Bardon(this book sure is being recommended often on this forum). Most of the things you mentioned can be achieved by control of the 5 magical elements-fire, water, earth, air and Akasa, as well as the electromagnetic fluids.

However, It is never recommended to seek out such powers because chances are they will hurt your spiritual growth. That doesn't mean i'm not trying though..........

I agree with benpari with this one, but I can push a pencil or swing a needle hanging on a string in the ceiling with my mind. ;) But I don't think those abilities "help" me with anything. But that's not all they're good for so....

Correct. At best, you will get stuck at level five and never reach level seven--direct unitive knowledge of the Ground of all Being, which is the ultimate goal and purpose of life.

Quite possible but it is a risk that I am willing to take. But I will try to refrain from that if I choose to pursue any of these.

The terms Electrokinesis, Telekinesis, Pyrokinesis, Biokinesis, Cryokinesis, Atmokinesis, Geokinesis, Chronokinesis etc. all = psychokinesis.

If you believe in things such as this then those terms are unnecessary, "Pyrokinesis" would be simply using pyschokinesis to accelerate the molecules of or around an object; as "Cryokinesis" would be the opposite which in turn decelerates the molecules of or around an object.

You get the picture..

Its just a more specific way of naming it.

Plus that is like insinuating that, for example, the term sociology is unnecessary because it is just applying psychology to groups.

Why boast? Who cares? I have minor telekinesis, but what good does that do? Doesn't help me or you, therefore its pretty pointless... Not to mention everyone has ability to do anything, its just what you set your mind to. On our plane of existence we make a big deal about these types of things, when we progress to the next, it will be the equivalent of walking. So once again, why brag, and who really cares?

Because if some kid manage to accomplish advanced psychokinesis and the world knew then their would be massive studies and it would be quantified and calculated to a precise science. Which would ruin the application of magic because it is about the unknown and the strength of mind and will. If someone told you "you can lift this with your mind by ...." and you believed them with every fiber of your being you would still not be able to do it, because magic is not about blind faith it is about excessive doubt which is overcome through repetition and pure strength of will. in essence it is not the belief in magic that allows it to manifest it is the process of ignoring the answers your brain gives you and bending your own mind into accepting what you wish thus the process of taming your own mind to accept what you tell it is what manifests your will.
