i doubt darkfall will even bring a dent in the monolith that is WoW, they cater to completly different crowds - what i dont doubt is that darkfall will soon be the home of a lot of Age of Conan, Warhammer, EvE, UO, DaoC,etc... gamers.

I'm going to try it out, just like I tried out warhammer.
Although I do have higher hopes for this game than I had for warhammer.

we all have higher hopes for this game then most others.

if darkfall doesn't pull a AoC on us (Blatant lies) they should do well for a PvP Free for all, Massive murder fest

Actually, I've played AOC beta for more than 3 months and I thought it was pretty bad but also thought it was going to be improved much further.
needless to say it didnt.

I've heard nothing but good stuff from beta reports, saying the game is already finished but they're just ironing small, maybe even cosmetic bugs.

I'm certainly excited about it.

Has anyone been in the beta? or know anyone who has been in the beta?

It's within a month of *cough* release *cough* but I haven't heard hardly anything.

vaporware trolls?

We're not trolls, we're reasonable, logical people.

You think it's a good sign that a game has skipped the open beta process and gone straight into release?

It sounds like they're run out of money and need release to fund more of the project, just like what happened to Vanguard.

That's a terrible sign for the game.
