for purposes of hypothetically cracking passwords at different locations

is there any way to put a regular .exe program on a U3 smart drive (Cruzer Gator 4GB) that does brute force attacks to allow access to a computer system?

this'd be pretty useful to me, and im very curious, as I dont even know where to look for a regular "on the computer' brute force program much less one that can run and crack a password and username before even logging into a computer.

also possible - i can just steal a normal USB drive is someone can maybe send me a message explaining how i can have a little "brute force 1GB flashdrive" that I plug into the USB of a foreign computer and it cracks it open.

thanks in advance.

There's a program called Ophcrack that you can use if you can make your usb drive bootable. I don't know much about making this possible though, but I'm sure someone else will have an answer for that.

Ophcrack is also available as a live bootable cd, which will do the same trick.

This is all assuming that you're trying to get into a windows based computer.

http://usbhacks.com/ has some fun stuff. I would only recommend http://www.remote-exploit.org/backtrack_download.html if you wanted something to peek at. It takes a lot of time and skills to learn how to use that bad boy properly.
