Stupid fallout 3 with its stupid fucking save system. I got back from the final request of that one bitch who is writing the survival guide. I finally finished the request, so I decide to celebrate and wait an hour and then go on a rampage in megaton. Of course, I find myself walk into a building and it autosaves. This is just fucking stupid.

Help me decide whether I should just let the changes be and continue from now on with fucked up karma, or load it all the way back to the first quest for the bitch. I killed a hsit load of people too. The ones I know are dead are: The Sheriff, Moriarty, and Jericho. Does the slaying of these people affect the games outcome at all? Stupid fucking save system.

Load or Continue?

Your morality changes by huge amounts through the game anyway, a few deaths will hardly matter. I killed tons of people (including the sheriff) and I still got the 'good' ending.

Your morality hardly even matters anyway, it has no real drastic effect on you and the ending is just a few words that are changed.

So continue, it'd be silly to replay through all the previous parts of that mission again just over a mistake that can easily be corrected by giving some water to a hobo.

... and an acolyte wins in this thread.'

Seriously as long as you didn't kill Moira Brown (the lady that runs Craterside Supply)all quests should be intact.

If you play as an evil character Jericho can become a buddy but, you have to pay him 1000 coins and have bad karma.

I've had the game for 3 days. Thanks for alerting me to the option of doing so.

I think I have the worst karma possible... and I don't think you can kill Moira. She didn't die when I blew the city up....

Are you serious?

That's some fucking bullshit.

There's about 4-5 characters I've discovered (so far) that can take whatever you throw at them, they simply fall over, and get back up. This includes putting a live grenade in their pocket.

Children are immortal also.

Ahh yes, the immortal "quest characters".

Shit, I'd assumed that when you blew up Megaton everyone in the town died because I was under the impression that a new town with new quests would eventually be built there. So really it doesn't make a difference what you do because the people with quests their somehow survive a nuclear fucking blast at ground zero?

Lame.

It sucks, because she survives, but the guy who'll follow you (Jericho?) doesn't, and I didn't know he would until he was dead.

"Killing" her does bring a slight convenience to the game. Can't say much more without spoiling it.

Actually, she is killable. After the nuclear bomb, she will survive but just unload a round into her face and she dies, easy as. Obviously, you won't be able to complete the quest anymore but you get the satisfaction of shutting that bitch the fuck up.

Also, alexander224, why didn't you just quicksave? It's not that hard to press f5 now and again.

With this type of game you really should get into the habit of saving regularly. Anyone who has played any RPGs will already do this. Save before you accept a quest/after you hand it in/at the start of a new zone etc. and keep the save.

After she falls down "dead" she always gets back up for me...

Is this before or after you've nuked Megaton? I shot her after she ran off ghoul-ified and it simply lowered my karma and said I couldn't complete the quest.
