I was wondering what all i can do to one of these. hopefully next week i will be trading my 2006 impreza for one so i can actually build it up. Cause the regular imprezas are sohc so i can't put a turbo on safely. What all do i need to do to add a bigger turbo? I know they are tuner ready so I'm hopeing its not much i would appreciate any serious advice.

Unless you're saying that this particular SOHC engine in the '06 Impreza can't be turbocharged due to something such as exceedingly thin cylinder walls, you're being a sausage.
Any kind of engine can use any form of forced induction. You do NOT need a DOHC engine if you want to turbo it.

I did alot of work to my friends TR. Its really not much different from the regular WRX. Still fun though. The first thing you wanna do it buy an access port for it.
http://cobbtuning.com/products/?id=3264
Then youre really gonna benefit from opening up the exhaust. Intake does almost nothing on these cars and you really dont wanna use an aftermarket intake other than the cobb shortram. Others are gonna screw with your air to fuel ratios on the AP.
The Cobb catback is a good stock looking unit. Its among my favorites. I would go with either the Cobb downpipe or Invidia downpipe. Theyre both a 3 inch system that helps you make some good power. Youre actually gonna lose power if you do the exhaust and intake before you get the accessport so keep that in mind.
If you wanna go further, A good start is the STi VF39 turbo and an STi topmount intercooler. We used the APS topmount intercooler on his. its a little bit of a step up from the STi IC. http://www.rallysportdirect.com/shop/aps-wrx-top-mount-intercooler-p-2777.html
After that, youre looking at injectors, and internals. Thats about as far as my experience has gotten me with that car. The owner died in a car accident about 2 months after all those mods so we didnt get a chance to go further with it. RIP Layne.
Edit: we had it dyno tuned at COBB tuning in salt lake city, We were able to squeeze just over 380awhp out of it. With just an accessport tune with those mods, youre looking at around 360hp.

No. Ive just used quite a few of their products on the STi that I used to have and liked them. Plus I used to live about 10 mins away from their shop.
