If dealing with a powder drug in salt form that one would rather have be a crystal appearance, would a simple recrystalization work?
Are some substances always a powder appearance and others a crystal appearance?
For example I have mephedrone powder but it looks tacky, as well was probally cut. If I rextaled it would it turn into a crystal?
What otc solvents would you suggest for mephedrone?
Thanks guys.

Yes, but you have to let it crystallize slowly to get nice crystals.

Chemicals are either crystaline or __ in their solid form. Powder is just crushed up crystals. If you look at it under a microscope you will see tiny crystals, like these: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Insulincrystals.jpg

Most likely, especially if you crystallize slowly. The only reason I can think of that it wouldn't crystallize is if there is some odd impurity, but chances are its fairly pure.
