Meh, even if they have revived it, I'm still only slightly interested. Ghost world coming into the real world? Okay, cool. Awesome ghost designs? Remains to be seen. I don't want cartoony ghosts, I want some freaky shit. And I'm worried about how varied the gameplay will be. Catching ghosts like pokemon all game will get old, fast.

At least they have the feel of the game down with Mr Murray's one-liners.

Freaky shit? I think that, you sir, don't quite understand Ghostbusters. Even in the movies, most of the ghosts were cartoony looking and I don't remember any scenes that I would consider scary or freaky.

This game looks like it'll be a good sequel to the movies.

Heh...they were kinda eerie, but there was always a little bit of humor attached to those scenes.

Like when the ghosts are getting off the Titanic and that dock worker's like "well, better late than never..."

I dunno, maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like ObsdianZ is wanting something like F.E.A.R. or Silent Hill level freaky. That's just totally wrong for Ghostbusters.

Anyone complaining that the ghosts aren't scary and freakish enough are idiots. Period.

As someone else said, some of the ghosts in the movie looked a bit scary, but there was always some cheesiness and humor to it. If you're seriously expecting ghosts like in Silent Hill or FEAR, get the fuck out.

Perhaps I should clarify: I don't want a game that looks like it was made for little kids. I'm not expecting anything totally serious, hell it's the fucking Ghostbusters, it shouldn't be serious.

But that doesn't mean the ghosts can't look cool.

Harold Ramis and Dan Aykroyd are also writing the game's storyline. Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson, and a few other cast members from the movies are doing voices.

This game is going to be full of win. :D

The virtual Dan Aykroyd looks exactly like him.
