I was wondering if any other service beside the Marine Corp doesn't allow tattoo's below the wrist. I have Veritas and Aequitas on my pointer fingers and have to get them removed as soon as possibly before boot camp. I don't think my recruiter understood however that tattoo removal isn't a one process wham bam surgery.

Way to be original.

PS. Pathetic.

As far as I know the Marines are the only branch that doesn't allow tattoos below the wrist. Actually, quite recently, (someone correct me if I'm wrong) I think they changed it to where you can't get any from the elbow down. I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to get a waiver though. It's not like any of the branches aren't wanting new recruits that badly.

One of my best friends (I'm in the Army), has tattoos on the back of both of his hands as well as on his neck, and he got waivers for those.

The Air Force doesn't allow tattoos below the wrists. I knew a guy who got General Discharge for going and getting finger tattoos (he wanted out).

I don't know about below the elbows. We have some Marines at our base, and I saw some arm tattoos on what looked like a lower ranking enlisted guy.

I suggest you cut them off/salt them off/bandage magnesium around it like the Russians. Marines are much more picky than the Army. While the Army will give you a waiver for raping your infant sister, the Marines does have a very high standard.

Wow your an asshole. I was drunk while I was watching the movie and decided to go get them tatted. Besides I agree with the translations: truth - justice and equality. Asshole. And in my opinion - MY tattoo's are for ME. Not you, not your mother, not my mother, no fucking asshole besides MYSELF. I think if you wanted to get a tattoo at one point - go fucking get it. Make your body a steady story progression of your life. I've even kept my ex wife's name on my body with no plans of getting it removed. Just because she's dead doesn't mean she didn't play a huge part in my life.... Jesus, your an asshole in a half...

Way to prove me right.

You.....you got drunk....and went to get something permanently grafted onto your body (with the only hope of removal, a surgical procedure)

Idiot.

There is nothing you could say to me, that would hurt me - or make me revoke what I said...because, in truth - I now know - how unbelievably stupid you are.

I wouldn't even bother butting in here, but I have to say that is pretty fucking lame (the tats). You are seriously defending your shitty choice of drunkenly and spontaneously marking yourself permanently with a crappy copy of something you saw in an overrated flick?

Hopefully the marines will overlook your obvious impulsive stupidity and give you a waiver.
