So, since my computer speakers ceased to work, I was thinking about just getting some nice monitors, and sending all my audio through the digidesign soundcard, into the 001, and out the monitor outputs. It gives me the option to use the digi001 card in my audio settings, but I'm just not sure if it'll work.

Should be able to just plug your monitors into the outputs of the digi. i have used a similar setup with a computer recording system and it worked fine.
