Greetings dear fellow totseans,

I'm looking for a war movie but can't get the title. Here's the description:

Its a japanese war movie from the 60's/70's. Its about a soldier (japanese) who's returning from the front to home. He has to traverse this journey on foot.

Its a very long movie (maybe ~8 hours) Mini Serial perhaps?

My father only knew one possible title "Barefoot through hell" but this has yielded nothing.

Anyone know this one? Thank you...

Which is a movie about American prisoners in a german POW camp. Exactly the opposite of what that dude was asking for.

Regardless, it is a fucking BOSS movie. Steve McQueen is the man.

I laughed my ass so hard the time I saw it because I was drunk and the fights/deaths are just to violent and cheesy.
