Had a 1 man 20th birthday party, was drinking to try and get some temporary relief from this depression I've had lately and I kept on drinking until I passed out. So I seem to gather from what I drank that I didn't find any relief.

Actually I would have liked to have a completly new post for this song.
It deserves it.
Its one of Aussies Legendary songs, it'll bring a tear to the eye of a whole generation of Okkers.
Stevie Wright was in a group called 'The Easybeats' they had several hits & another member of the band was the older brother of Angus & Malcom Young.
They went on to form a group called 'AC&DC'
-----------------
Theres a song called 'Journey to the centre of the electric cabbage' or similar.
I'm sure its Ted Nugent.

I strongly disagree with you.
Jägermeister is a good cure.
I can't stand Jägermeister, I'm more of a beer, whiskey and reefer man. Never been a fan of liquers, well, except for a couple of coffee liquers.

In the DVD The Song Remains The Same, Dazed and Confused - twenty something minite medley, its almost mystical, blows me away everytime i see it and makes me wish i was born in the 60's
most of pink floyds work is epic
echoes, dogs, pigs, sheep, atom heart mother
but especially echoes
Meh, for me, 'long' doesn't make a song epic, it's gotta take you on a journey man. Dante's Inferno by Iced Earth is epic. So is IE's The Clouding. They have several epics, come to think of it. And the first track from Manowar's Triumph of Steel is epic. It's about Achilles and the battle of Troy.
