Hello,

I am looking for a few very well recommended trojan scanners that will fix my current issue. The trojan I currently have is called "Trojan.Virtumonde" according to spyware doctor. Although I cannot remove it without purchasing a subscription. The link to the description of this is: http://www.pctools.com/en/mrc/infections/id/Trojan.Virtumonde

Any suggestions on programs that will remove this or fix this issue for me? I do appreciate any help I can get.

Thanks.

Spybot S&D should take care of that for you. Or get a free trial of Kaspersky from their website.

Spybot S&D will definetely take care of this. Also, while you're at it, download CCleaner. Won't remove the virus, but it will sort out any registry errors it created.

No, it doesn't. It runs scans similar to how virus scanners work, based on signature files. It then removes registry entries and files that are used by the spyware it's detected (except there are tricks some of the programs use to prevent this, in which case you need to run it in safe mode).
