Ok, you guys on here always talk about conspiracies, backstairs intrigue, plots and plans, UFO's and aliens, secret societies etc.

So, lets try something a tad different. I want you to (HYPOTHETICALLY, before the party-van start sniffing around ROFL) engineer a conspiracy. Or more precisely, a conspiracy that elevates you to power.

Here are the conditions:
You have 2 million US dollars in untraceable, easily transferable cash at your disposal.
You have 30 years to elevate yourself to a significant status in your chosen country (the country is up to you).
You are under no obligation to follow laws.
You have zero contacts to start off with -you are on your own.
You can use force if you feel you can get away with it.

Oh, and a few tit-bits of advice from me:
"Never outshine the current establishment…in your rise to the top never let them feel insecure of you. Always make them feel superior.”
48 laws of power

"Don't escalate too fast- 2 steps forward, one step back-calibrate and see if they are comfortable with it- then proceed ".
Mystery

You may start now- Tick tock.

2010--establish a home base. Use some of that money to acquire a nondescript piece of property in a fairly remote area of the US, where you can live autonomously and off the grid. Utilize solar/wind power and underground springs. Live off the land.

2011--recruitment. Found a cabal of "true believers" who are loyal and have the ability to serve the cause. Round up teenaged runaways from around the country; isolate and indoctrinate them. Begin breeding. During this time, attract no attention, do nothing illegal.

2012--patience. Spend the first twenty years slowly and silently building up your army. Make them intelligent, resourceful and charismatic.

2032--infiltration. The first generation is ready to begin taking positions within the elite power structure. Start with local governments in small towns, then work your way up to state government. Blackmail officials to back you.

2035--public approval. Acquire/control media outlets and make them sing your praises. Assure the citizenry that your way is the best way, and that the "hallowed institution of democracy" ensures that the voice of the people will be heard.

2040--you now rule the world. Enjoy.

I go to any African country with my 2 million US dollars.

Step 2.

Mission accomplished.

It wouldn't take a conspiracy to get a significant position of power. I'd just go to school to get a degree in economics, and a minor in political sciences. I'd use the remaining money to establish a small business. Build it into a small corporation. Use profits to get my name out there in the community as a philanthropist. Then I'd enter the political scene by running as a local counselor, funding my campaign myself. People would know me as a local business success, educated, and working to improve the community. After a few terms, I'd move into federal politics. Within twenty years, I could probably move into position through my intelligence and charisma to become a federal party leader. Draft up a really good platform, and get my party in, making me the prime minister. Not much conspiracy there, unless you look at my manipulation of the masses through philanthropy and the projection of a positive image for myself.
