I've been an avvid camel menthol smoker, but ever since the fire safety cigarettes have started pullating their cigarettes, I'm now looking into purchasing rolling tobacco for the price and hopefully more freshness and good smoke.

Does anyone have any recommendations (preferably menthol related) as to which I should go to the local smokeshop and purchase? Also why you like the particular brand, etc.

Top is super cheap and smokeable if you like menthol (I fucking hate menthol). My cousin smokes it sometimes, and he smokes Kools.

Drum is a favorite of mine. I like the Perique blend. Also, I enjoy Stokkebye's #92 Norwegian Shag. Go to a tobacco shop that isn't run by some Middle Eastern guy. Unless he's a Middle Eastern guy who knows his tobacco. In the way of menthol, I'm not experienced. But, I believe that most brands carry a menthol type.

You think top's bad? Try some midnight special or express or whatever the fuck that 93cent shit with the train on it is... A whole satchel is cheaper than zig zags.

crow4523, I picked up some Drum this past weekend, first rolling tobacco I've ever bought. I rolled one, and I think it was the best cigarette I've ever smoked. The flavor is wonderful, way better than any cigarette I've tasted. I'm hoping that it will last longer in the pouch than a pack of cigarettes; I smoke sporadically, so my packs always seem to go stale. Definetely a cheaper per cigarette deal too. Also, I can now testify to the fact that you should use rolling tobacco in a spliff instead of cig tobacco. Thanks for the recommendation, I don't remember the last time I was so impressed with a tobacco product.
