Are these good? Does anyone have experience with these? I've been looking for some really good headphones, earbuds, just something that is "the next level" up from my Sennheiser pxc100's.

^ I'm looking to buy that one. It seems like a decent deal considering most other sites have them more closer to the 200 range, sometimes even closer to 300.

But what do you guys (and girls... lolnevermind no girls on internet) think of these?

Haven't ever even seen the 310's, but I have a set of what I think are 110's that sound great to me.

Do they cancel the noise well?

Like can you hear people talking nearby you?

Have you ever seen a pair? They're basically like foam earplugs with a little headphone "driver" or whatever you'd call it in them. You roll them between your fingers to compress them, insert them in your ears, they expand, you don't hear shit but the music.

I suggest over the ear headphones, the bass is incomparable to earbuds. I just got some Bose Quiet Comfort 2 for really(relatively) cheap, they released the QC3 not too long ago so you should probably be able to find a good deal too.

I'm a big fan of in-ear earphones and have had quite a few, but for whatever reason I've never picked any up from Shure. Go figure.

My dad works for a company that sells those, and I've tried all of their previous line, and they all sounded pretty damn good. Don't get the stupid little rubber ear nubs, though, get the true foam ones that expand and completely close your ears off. Also, use them with an audio source that can actually pump out some juice, not a wimpy little iPod. Get everything set right and those things will rock your motherfucking world.

Earbuds are so fucking bad for your ears. They damage them alot. Get over-ear headphones. Don't be a bitch

They're in-ear canalphones, which tend to do a lot less damage to your ears than over-ear phones because they (good quality units, ie. Shure, Etymotic, UE etc) tend to seal and cancel external sound very well, requiring much lower operating volumes for high-quality output. The only over-ear units that can compare are the closed and sealed type, but the seals on those either have to match your facial contours or need to be very thick and foamy. Sure, in the end, high-end cans beat everything else out for sound quality, but they'll set you back a lot more and unless you're using them in a quiet environment, are more likely to lead to hearing damage.

That and you don't look like a moron walking down the street with a massive pair of cans. Bitch.

OP: I've got a pair of Ultimate Ears Super.Fi 4s, I got them for $140 AU (that's like $100 US I think) and I'd definitely recommend them.

idk where you live, but if they have Skullcandy headphones where you live you should definitely get a pair of their "Smokin' Buds" (lol drug reference). They are WICKED good, and only like $32.

Nah, skullcandies aren't my type.

I had a pair. They are all bass which is nice, but they don't include the subtle details. Whenever I switched from them to Sennheiser PXC100's, I was amazed at how much more I could hear.

Well, I got them in the mail today.

They are kind of dissapointing... I mean the sound is nice and all, but it's annoying as hell to put them in my ears, and no matter what earpiece I use they seem to fall out a little. And the bass is less than what I hoped for. My pxc100's bass blows these away.
