Just wondering who in here took the actuary road? Any advice to someone just starting out?

I graduate in May with a double major in math and actuary science. Two SoA exams passed, will find out about the MFE in January. The job market is kind of sucking right now, so I don't know what I will do if I don't get a job. Blah...

I took a couple courses in basic financial mathematics (static hedging) but I don't plan to work in the field, the job market is too poor. Actuarial practice seems more standardized so I would think you have a better outlook, best of luck.
