Ok i was thinking about making some sort of brown sugar cookies, I have items like brown sugar, flour, 1 egg, baking soda, and thats about it I think. Is there anyway I coud make something? I dont even mind if their not the best tasting, just aslong as they are pretty good. lol thank you all I have severe munchies.

Oh yeah I also have a little bit of rice crispies, would it be good to add in?

Ok I added rice crispies with alot of brown sugar, vegetable oil, adden an egg, a little flour, salt and a tad of vanilla extract. I taste tested it before baking, and it taste killer. I may let you know how it turns out. I think it will be awesome, MODS DELTE IF YOU WISH

90% of all cookie recipes involve

1)adding sugar and a fat together (usually white sugar with butter), though in your case, i guess vegetable oil will work, but result will be different. creaming butter with sugar has the best effect though. also, you would replace white with brown sugar
2)adding liquid (eggs and/or milk). eggs will help bind everything together. milk can substitute eggs, but will make the dough a bit more breakable and more chewy (since it has more moisture)
3) adding dissolvable flavour. this is usually vanilla and a bit of salt
4)stirring in flour and baking powder. obviously this forms the bulk of the food. remember to use a spoon rather than a wisk, or it will be very hard to stir
5)adding extras. you know, chocolate chips, peanuts, oatmeal and other optionals

from my experience, a good ratio of fat:sugar:liquid:flour (in volume) is roughly
0.5:0.75:0.1:1

but of course the ratios will change.
180 degrees celsius also seems to be the ideal cookie baking temperature for nearly everything

also, depending on your recipe, sometimes, cookies will flatten themselves in the oven, so sometimes, youll have to leave them in the pan as spheres. usually this is for higher fat cookies (like choc chip)
on the other end of the spectrum, things with low fat require you to roll them out and cut them, gingerbread is a good example

anyway, baking is very easy, and even if you get the ratios wrong, it will turn out better than if you screwed over a cake. hell, you can undercook them and just call them "special chewy cookies'

the only real mistake is if you burn them, which is quite easy,as cookies are small and thin, so be careful about that

edit: if you are a busy person, you can make a whole lot of dough, roll them into sausages with plastic wrap, then freeze them. to cook, just slice and bake
