i never listened to marilyn manson as a kid, but recently i heard "the nobodies" and it sounded pretty cool. so i'm going to the mall today, and wanted to know if any of his cd's were worth shoplifting.

I don't know, but I respect John 5's guitarist skills. "Gods and Monsters" is a sick song.

I only like a handful of Marilyn Manson songs, and they're spread all throughout his discography. I don't think he has a single CD with more than two songs I like on it, lol. So yeah, your best bet would be to steal his Best Of CD.

I've only heard Holy Wood and it's great.

I went to see Manson and Slayer play when they toured awhile back. The crowd was half the entertainment. Some real freaky mother fuckers. I was joking with my friend about how we should take pictures of them. Just then we hear his intoxicated uncle yell out "Look at this one!", and we turn to see him 3 feet away from some vampire fuck sticking his cell phone camera in his (her?) face. Shit was hilarious.

I like some of Manson's stuff, and I gotta say his stage show is rather impressive. A different outrageous costume/stage setup for every song. But his fan base kills it.

My favorite cd of his is actually his live album "Last tour on earth".

A lot of his songs sound better live, heavier guitar, not as compressed, and less bleepy bloopy keyboard shit.

I agree with that. Portrait of an American Family and Antichrist are tied as his best for me. Mechanical Animals is pretty good too. His recent stuff just sucks ass though.
